I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for each and every one of you that read this blog. I have heard so many stories of hope and courage in the last week it is amazing. It also means so much after a long day to hear that you are thinking and praying for my mom, my family and I. When people who were complete strangers before I started this blog have the power to help lift my spirits then that is the power of friendship.
I know I haven't been really great about repaying the favor by posting comments on your blogs but I promise that I do still read all of your blogs. I've been trying really hard to take care of myself and getting my running in because that really helps clear my head....reading your blogs is a form of stress relief too. So, I just wanted to once again publicly thank my "bloggy" friends and my "in real life" friends who sometimes occasionally read my blog. I don't know what I would do without my friends to help me get by. So, thank you!
In mom news...we are still awaiting the results of her MRI from Friday. Today was an exceptionally hard day for her. The waiting is driving her crazy and she feels like she just wants to get this whole mess over with. In the car today, #1,#2 and I heard the song "Stand Up" which was written by a whole group of woman artists in order to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. When it came on #2 says, "This is Mema's song because she is a fighter!" It brought tears to my eyes but we turned that music way up and sang at the top of our lungs...for Mema.
Have you checked out http://www.armyofwomen.org/ yet? It's an amazing website...sign up for it. The sooner we get to one million woman the closer we will be for a cure.

Honey. I'm over here crying. Isn't it funny how our children can be so intuitive? It never ever ceases to amaze me. We got good news today, make sure when you get a minute to visit Papa Fro's new blog. I'm so happy to have some good news to share.
One day at a time my friend. I too have found myself needing you guys for a pick me up during the battle that is life with cancer.
I'm sure the waiting is just horrible for your mom, and for all of you. Continued hugs to you, and don't every worry about returning comments- nobody cares about that, they care about YOU! Keep us posted...
I'm so glad you're finding a little mini-mind-vacation when you read our blogs! I will attempt to keep being my same idiotic self in an effort to keep you smiling... :)
STILL praying for your mom and all of you.
Girl don't even worry about commenting right now if you don't feel like it! You have a ton of stuff going on right now. Worry about you and your family. We are all thinking of you and praying for you! The waiting game sucks and I wish there was something I could do for you and your family to make time pass more quickly. Many thoughts hugs and prayers to your entire family.
Kids are the best! They pick up on the most amazing things. Glad ya'll got to "jam out" to "mema's song".
And just to let you know, I hightailed it on over to the army of women site and signed up. As women this is something that we should all sign up for so we can put an end to cancer!
Carried along, sometimes aren't we? Just carried along on a wave of caring.
